Privacy policy
Navigation notifications
After you allow notification access, Bip Maps filters notifications by their sending application and processes Google Maps navigation instructions and distances on your device to trigger sound and visual reminders, including while its screen is closed. Other applications’ notification contents are not processed. No Google account login, contacts, messages or GPS permission is required by Bip Maps. A navigation instruction can contain a road or place name.
Local storage
The latest navigation instruction, distance and alert state are stored in the app’s private storage to avoid repeated alerts and resume after a service restart. They are cleared when the end of navigation is detected. If Android stops the service before that event, the last state may remain until the next connection or until you clear the app’s storage. Bip Maps does not build a journey history. Settings, technical playback status and your selected sounds are also stored locally.
Your audio
The system file picker lets you choose MP3 files, which are copied into the app’s private storage. Only the files you select are imported. Microphone permission is optional and is requested for recording your own alert, for up to five seconds. Recording is user-initiated and stops when you leave the recording screen. Imported sounds and saved recordings stay on your device until you delete them or clear the app’s data.
Visual alerts and audio output
Optional permission to display over other apps enables the visual halo. It does not capture the screen or read other apps’ contents. Android audio APIs are used to play the alert and determine available audio routes. Bip Maps does not record telephone calls.
Transfers, advertising and accounts
Bip Maps has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or developer-operated server. Its navigation, audio and settings data are not sent to LogiQc or sold or shared by Bip Maps. Google Play handles installation, purchases, app protection and any diagnostics provided under its own settings and policies. Google Maps and Android also operate under their respective privacy policies.
Your choices
You can turn off automatic alerts, revoke notification access and optional permissions in Android Settings, and delete your imported sounds or recordings in the sound library. Clearing app storage or uninstalling Bip Maps removes its local settings and files; files originally selected from elsewhere remain there. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Operating-system device-transfer features are controlled by Android and the device manufacturer.

If you email logiqc.apps@gmail.com, the information you voluntarily include is used to handle your request. Do not send passwords or private journey details. You can contact this address with privacy questions or requests about support correspondence. Bip Maps is intended for adult drivers, not for children.
Changes
This policy describes the current app. If its data practices change, the policy and relevant permission explanations will be updated.
About this website
This website is hosted by Firebase Hosting (Google). It includes no advertising or audience analytics tools. Resources are hosted with the site. The contact button opens your email app; no form sends your information to the website.
